Today has been a really fun day. I went out with my father about town to hit up Best Buy. We looked at alot of cool electronics, and my dad decided he wanted to upgrade his reciever. That means I will get to inherit his old reciever and no longer will have to resort to only having one speaker ;P

Afterwards, we went to this really bizarre and cool cowboy store. My mom had recommended we go there. She was out to replace my raggedy 4 pocket banana republic coat. I did in fact end up discovering a really awesome black duster jacket. Its very cool, and very black. Anyways, I was really happy. This was one of the unusual concidences where my parents style and mine actually connect.

Anyways, afterwards I came home and chilled. I saw the movie patton on TV. That is a really great movie! I gotta respect war leadership like that. I've been having lots of pondering thoughts after a late night discussion with my friend Axton last night. We talked about the possibility of an opensource business, I'm not sure where it will go, but it has been really interesting to think about. In other ideas, I now really want to make a pair of shoes in addition to my jacket =)

When I get back to houston I want to peirce my ear. That will be fun.

My life feels like its coming together. I feel like i am understanding and being who I should be. I like my life this way.

I quit WOW today. How sad, all those hours of enjoyment. But I think I knew from the beginning that eventually it would have to stop. I'm really wondering now how my life will be when I return to Rice. Oh well, enjoy the days of freedom while I have them. I will undoubtably need them.

Days in the Red City

Today I went to shoot long rifles with my father down at the Bullet Hole range. I had an awesome time out there with him. I really think i'm starting to feel alot happier about this break now than before. I feel like alot happened today. Just, alot of things on my mind i've been writing down.

My friend Calynda is now in Tokyo. I wonder how she is doing. Hopefully she will survive. My friends in Shanghai have been doing well too. Today I talked with Frank, one of my good coworkers from Shanghai Digital. He is such a funny great guy.

I've been talking about what to do after college today with alot of people. I feel like I really want to go to New York City. I just feel like that would be a place I belong. Where all would you go if you could live anywhere in the world?

Hope your vacations are going well. New Years is coming up quickly.

Well, I watched two movies in my boredome on christmas day.I, Robot: This was a really fucking good movie with nice kickass robot judo chops! Will smith as always plays the role of a good hero. Didn't see any robot sex bots though, so I give it a B.Hero: I'll admit straight up, I like asian films. This was a really good jet li kungfu movie. One of the girls in the movie reminds of a girlfriend I had back in shanghai. I give it A- only for the sake that the two males don't take out the king when they have a chance.Anyways, that was my day. Tomorrow I feel like I'm going to go shoot my rifle out in the forest. What better way to work out the holiday family agression than shooting apart human shaped targets.

Damn. well, im at home again for christmas. Things haven't changed here much. Parents are still work aholics. Things went by pretty easily I suppose. Had the token phonecall to all the relatives and opened presents on christmas eve. I have an impatient family.I really miss all my machines back in Houston. Want to go back soon. Oh yah, my cats are going crazy over their cat nip christmas gifts.

The bitch is out~

Well, last night it finally happened. After a semester of annoyances I finally spoke out against Laura (our 5th roomate and boyfriend of our real roomate). She's gone now, thank god. I do believe this is one of the most relaxing mornings i've had in awhile.

What else is going on? I've finally combined irssi+bitlbee+screen to have one of the most 1337 console interfaces i've ever seen.

Oh yah, 10 more hours to go for community service! *grinS* i'm almost there.

Anyways, now I need to study corporate finance

Want to start getting into weblogging again ;P

Yah, so finals are coming up, and as usual my mind is going crazy over anything that keeps me from doing work. I wanted to try to bring my weblogging up to speed again. I've been working hard on a project to put a LCD sign on the door of my dorm room (shiney!). So far, so good, just need to learn how to remote access it :) Oh yah, gentoo rocks!

"A little impatience spoils great plans."

Hi there everyone! I'm so happy to be out of school. Yesterday I turned in my chinese and CS final and got the hell out of there. I'm so excited about my china trip. I can hardly wait for the adventures yet to come. I'm trying to keep it in perspective though. I still got two weeks before I leave. Thats a long time =/ Today I meet with an old mentor of mine Dr Tang. I'm excited to see what has been happening at emetric. Anyways, it feels good to be home. Enjoy your summers everyone wherever you are in the world!

Well, i'm back at school again. I was surprised somewhat to be back here. So far things have gone well. I feel like I am being really efficient for some reason. I'm just getting so much done. Unfortunately , that is sometimes a bad thing. I finished my taxes today I found I owed some 1700 dollars to the government. That really sucks on top of my table pc I have to pay for. Oh well. I hope my friends school semesters are starting off better than mine. Bring on the new year! Oh yah, I updated my site some too.
